Recycled Content

Recycled Content is not a relevant measure for metal packaging as all metal has an element of recycled content.

This is because scrap metal is integral to the production of new metal.

Currently demand for aluminium and steel outstrips the availability of scrap, so what is important is that as much metal as possible is collected for recycling.

 It’s the recycling rate that truly matters for metal.

Which is why metal has developed a recycling infrastructure over many years that has made it the most recycled packaging.
